1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using e-Logbook ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our application. These terms apply to all users including free and premium subscribers.

2. Description of Service

e-Logbook is a digital academic logbook platform designed exclusively for Postgraduate Medical Students. The app allows users to:

• Record and track academic activities and clinical logs
• Manage dissertation and research details
• Track mandatory certifications and academic milestones
• Generate professional PDF logbook reports for departmental submission
• Upload and store academic documents and certificates

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and truthful information during registration and throughout use
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to contain false or fabricated academic information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use e-Logbook only for lawful academic purposes. You must not:

• Enter false, misleading, or fabricated academic records
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written permission
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise platform security
• Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the application

5. Free Plan & Premium Subscription

e-Logbook offers two plans:

• Free Plan: Limited to 10 activity log entries. PDF export is not available on the free plan.
• Premium Plan: Unlimited activity logs, full PDF export, and all features unlocked. Billed annually.

Premium subscription pricing is as displayed on the app at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing with or without prior notice to users.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Upon successful payment, your account is upgraded to Premium immediately.

6. Subscription Renewal & Cancellation

Premium subscriptions are valid for one year (365 days) from the date of purchase. Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You will need to manually renew your subscription before expiry to continue accessing Premium features.

Upon expiry of your Premium subscription, your account will revert to the Free plan. Your data will not be deleted — only Premium features will be restricted.

7. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer

e-Logbook is intended for academic record-keeping purposes only. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all data entered. The developers are not liable for:

• Any discrepancies between app records and official departmental requirements
• Rejection of PDF reports by any institution or examination board
• Any academic or professional consequences arising from inaccurate data entry

Always verify your logbook entries with your department's official requirements.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of e-Logbook is the intellectual property of the developers. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute any part of this application without prior written consent.

User-generated content (your activity logs, uploaded documents, etc.) remains your own property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, e-Logbook and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application, including but not limited to loss of data, academic consequences, or service interruptions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Student Profile → Danger Zone → Delete My Account. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently erased.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
